BALLA LA VECCHIA

“Look how the old lady dances” Is a typical Maremmano expression used when the hot summer air shimmers in the midday heat.

Altitude: 150 - 180 meters above sea level.

Exposure of the land: Mainly south-east.

Type of soil: Sandy with sandstone skeleton, the soil is rather homogeneous.

Training system: Spurred cordon.

Plant density: 5680 plants / ha.

Resa uva/ettaro: 90 q.li.

Yield per hectare: 90 quintals.

Harvest: Takes place in three separate periods, between mid-September and late October.

Vinification: Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (30°). After filtration, it is put on the market in June following the harvest.

Tasting notes
The wine has a ruby red colour, an intense and elegant aroma with hints of red berry fruit, with a soft, round and enveloping taste.
